I've always loved McCreary's. It's been a staple original business in downtown Franklin for many years (my entire childhood at least) and the quality has remained consistent over time. It's meets the cozy pub feel that you'd expect and the food is something I think about when I'm feeling homesick. The prices have remained pretty reasonable too! You have to get the fish and chips when you go & enjoy a pint if that's your jam. This is the place to do it! Parking in downtown Franklin is hit or miss. There's street parking, a lot behind the strip and they've added a newer parking garage if you strike out on the street.
